Video and Photo Editor (Offshore)

Xugar is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video and Photo Editor to join our offshore team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in video and photo editing, color grading, and animation. You will be responsible for enhancing our visual content, creating engaging videos and images, and elevating the overall production quality of our marketing assets. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos for various marketing purposes, including promotional content, client testimonials, product highlights, and ads.
Photo Editing: Retouch and enhance photos for events, product shots, headshots, and group shots.
Color Grading: Apply consistent and high-quality color grading techniques to ensure a professional look for all videos and photos.
Animation: Create animations and motion graphics to add visual appeal to video content when necessary.
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the creative team to ensure the content aligns with brand guidelines and project goals.
Content Delivery: Manage the post-production process and ensure timely delivery of high-quality video and photo assets.
Feedback Incorporation: Make necessary edits based on feedback from the team, ensuring revisions meet project requirements.

Skills And Experience Required

Proficiency in Adobe Suite: Strong expertise in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Experience in Editing: 2+ years of experience in video and photo editing. 
Color Grading: A good understanding of color theory and practical experience with color grading to enhance video/photo aesthetics.
Animation Skills: Basic knowledge of animation and motion graphics in After Effects.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand standards.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the creative and production teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues in video/photo editing software and adapt to new challenges in creative projects.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in working remotely with global teams.
Basic knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content requirements is a plus.
Ability to identify and implement social media trends into daily content creation.
