Recruit AI is seeking a motivated and experienced FMCG Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Karachi, Pakistan. This full-time role suits a proactive sales professional who is eager to take ownership of sales operations, drive market expansion, and enhance customer relationships within the fast-moving consumer goods sector. The ideal candidate holds at least 5 years of sales experience and demonstrates strong skills in sales team leadership, territory management, and meeting ambitious sales targets. Despite not having previously managed a team, the candidate is expected to lead Order Takers and Sales Representatives, ensuring product availability, smooth distribution, and excellent customer satisfaction throughout the Karachi region. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, analyzing market trends and competitor activities, and ensuring efficient coordination between sales and internal departments. Your role involves training staff, forecasting sales outcomes, and consistently achieving performance goals through strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. By driving regional sales growth, you will contribute directly to the success and expansion of Nectar Distribution within the local retail market.
Responsibilities
 

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a sales team comprising Order Takers and Sales Representatives to achieve set targets and maintain high performance.
  • Recruit, train, and develop field sales staff to ensure efficient territory coverage and customer engagement.
  • Develop comprehensive sales plans and strategies aimed at expanding retail coverage and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
  • Monitor daily sales activities closely to identify opportunities and address challenges related to market dynamics and competitor behavior.
  • Coordinate timely order collection and product distribution to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct frequent market visits to provide on-ground coaching, assess real-time conditions, and support the sales teams efforts.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and generate insightful reports to inform management decisions and strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as supply chain and marketing to ensure smooth product availability and alignment.
  • Use market analysis to identify trends and customer needs, adjusting sales tactics accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular interaction, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering long-term loyalty.
