Manager - Data Analytics

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented Manager – Data Analytics responsible for leading the analytics team, overseeing data operations, and delivering insights that drive both business impact and broader organizational strategy. The successful candidate will ensure smooth end-to-end data workflows, from data preparation to advanced analytics and visualization while also transforming insights into clear narratives for stakeholders across all levels.

A key part of the role is using data to inform strategic planning, support long-term organizational goals, and strengthen decision-making processes. Additionally, the incumbent will continuously improve data-related processes and SOPs based on learnings from past projects.

Key tasks include:

• Lead a team of data analysts, providing mentorship, technical oversight, and ensuring high-quality analytics delivery.
• Oversee data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering—always with consideration of business relevance and broader strategic objectives.
• Use SQL for data querying and transformation, and Python and/or R for advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data models in Power BI, and deliver regular and ad-hoc insights to support strategic initiatives.
• Translate analytical findings into clear technical reports, executive summaries, and communication materials tailored for non-technical and senior leadership audiences.
• Collaborate with other departments and leadership teams to understand strategic priorities and align analytics projects with organizational goals.
• Use data-driven insights to inform business strategy, long-term planning, and performance optimization.
• Maintain data governance standards, quality checks, documentation, and SOPs.
• Reflect on project learnings and iteratively improve data-related processes, SOPs, and team practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R for analytics and machine learning.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
• Practical experience with Power BI (dashboard design, data modelling, DAX/M query).
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear narratives that support business and strategic decision-making.
• Strong communication skills, including writing technical reports and presenting insights to non-technical and senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently when required.

Education:

Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.

Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics/data science, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
