Askari Life Insurance Co. is seeking an experienced Regional Business Manager to lead and expand our business operations within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life insurance and family takaful sales, bringing at least five years of experience in managing sales activities and driving growth. This role requires an adept professional who can develop effective sales strategies, oversee a large team, and ensure the achievement of financial and operational targets. As the Regional Business Manager, you will coordinate a team of 100 sales agents, guiding and motivating them to meet and surpass sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. In this leadership role, you will work closely with senior management to align regional sales objectives with the companys overarching goals. You will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and implement plans to enhance sales performance and market penetration. Your responsibilities include managing the teams activities, providing coaching and training, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and achievement. This position requires a strong commitment to excellence, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive industry.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for life insurance and family takaful products to meet regional business targets.
  • Manage and lead a team of 100 sales agents, providing guidance, motivation, and training to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth within the region.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business development efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics regularly to ensure targets are met and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align regional goals with overall company objectives and policy requirements.
  • Drive team adherence to compliance, regulatory standards, and company policies to maintain operational integrity.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on sales activities, team performance, and market conditions to the executive leadership.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development programs for new and existing team members to maintain a high-performing sales force.
  • Promote a positive team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
