Hiring Sr. Manager Data Modeler - Onsite (Karachi/Islamabad)

Job Role: Data Modeler/Data Architect
Job Description:
1) Design scalable and high-performance data models (relational, dimensional, Data Vault) to support BI, analytics, and reporting and business teams.
2) Establish and enforce data modeling best practices, naming conventions, and metadata management.
3) Continuously improve existing models for scalability, integrity, and query efficiency.
4) Work with data engineers, SMEs, and business teams to translate requirements into efficient data structures.
5)Enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring scalability, governance, and performance across the enterprise.
6) Build robust data models to support the inputs for AI/ML models and real time analytics.
7) Create and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements.
8) Work with SMEs and business analysts to document data needs and constraints, align with data engineers to ensure models are implemented correctly in databases.
9)Source identification, data profiling and translate business rules into technical data models. 10)Maintain a centralized metadata repository for design artifacts i-e, (SMX,RMX, ERD).
11)Develop and enforce data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices.
12)Manage day to day activities with the data engineering team and align with the VP for reporting and new requirements.
Process Improvement Requirements:
1)Optimize and maintain data models to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability. 2)Implement centralized enterprise data model as single source of truth across organization. 3)Standardize modeling techniques (e.g., MDM, dimensional model, Data Vault) across the organization.
4)Implement version control for data models to track changes and improve collaboration. 5)Streamline metadata management by maintaining a centralized repository for easy access. 6)Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate, consistent, and up to date by creating reliable data models. 7)Create reusable data models and pre-aggregated datasets for analytics teams.
