FAV Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive sales initiatives in the industrial automation sector. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering, with a preference for an MBA in Marketing. With 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial automation sales, the individual demonstrates deep product knowledge spanning variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and soft starters. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with excellent B2B sales skills to successfully engage with industrial clients across Pakistan's diverse industrial landscape. The Technical Sales Manager leverages solution selling to address client needs, offering tailored industrial automation systems that improve operational efficiency and reliability. This position demands a proactive approach in providing technical support and troubleshooting while coordinating consultant approvals and aligning sales strategies with organizational goals. Although the role currently does not involve managing a team, the incumbent plays a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction within a dynamic market environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for industrial automation systems including VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and soft starters to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage potential industrial clients across Pakistan, understanding their processes and recommending tailored automation solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to explain the features and advantages of products and services to prospective customers.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance before and after sales to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with consultants and coordinate approval processes to facilitate project implementation while ensuring compliance with technical standards.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to anticipate customer needs and develop competitive advantages.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, maintaining accurate documentation and sales forecasting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the industrial sector, including engineers, plant managers, and procurement officers.
  • Continuously update product and industry knowledge to serve as a trusted advisor and technical resource for clients.
  • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to provide client feedback and help refine product offerings and sales materials.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote company products and build professional networks.
