Job Description

Hi Tech Plastics Engineering is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Executive to join their team in Karachi. The Warehouse Executive is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching industrial machinery, spare parts, tools, and related materials. This individual ensures accurate inventory management, safe handling of equipment, and the timely fulfillment of orders to meet operational and customer demands. The role emphasizes maintaining efficient warehouse processes while adhering to safety and organizational standards. The Warehouse Executive manages stock records, conducts inventory audits, coordinates logistics activities, and prepares all required documentation. This role requires proficiency in inventory management software such as SAP, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with procurement, sales, vendors, and transport teams. The position requires candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, especially within industrial or technical product sectors. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it demands a proactive approach to streamline operations and resolve delivery or transportation challenges efficiently.
Responsibilities
 

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming industrial machinery, spare parts, tools, and materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of products according to warehouse standards to facilitate easy access and safety.
  • Monitor the safe loading and unloading of machinery and equipment, strictly adhering to safety procedures to prevent damage or injury.
  • Coordinate timely dispatches of goods to customers, project sites, and internal departments while planning delivery schedules and tracking vehicle movement.
  • Prepare logistics documentation including Goods Receiving Notes, Delivery Challans, Gate Passes, Stock Transfer Documents, and inventory reports for accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels using SAP or manual systems, ensuring data integrity and real-time updates.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits to reconcile stock discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory status, including slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock, and report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Ensure availability of fast-moving spare parts and consumables to support uninterrupted operational needs.
  • Resolve delivery and transportation issues promptly by liaising with vendors, transporters, and internal teams to minimize delays.
  • Maintain adherence to warehouse safety procedures, especially when handling heavy machinery and lifting equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Coordinate with transporters for smooth handling of incoming and outgoing shipments to optimize logistics effectiveness.
  • Support logistics planning for deliveries and site dispatches, ensuring efficient resource utilization and timely execution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping standards within the warehouse to promote safety and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to stay updated on stock status, incoming shipments, and demand forecasts.
