CCTV Operator

Job Description

Tecno Group seeks a diligent and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance systems and ensure the security of designated areas. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of experience in operating CCTV equipment, conducting equipment maintenance, and promptly identifying and responding to potential security threats. This role involves maintaining continuous surveillance, handling system checks, and collaborating with security personnel to uphold safety protocols. The operator is expected to work effectively in shifts, demonstrating strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail to detect any unusual activities and act accordingly.
Responsibilities
 

• Monitor live surveillance video feeds to observe and identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Maintain and regularly inspect CCTV equipment for proper functioning, reporting any malfunctions or technical issues.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents by alerting security teams or law enforcement as necessary.
• Record and document all observed incidents and daily surveillance activities accurately for review and analysis.
• Operate surveillance systems in compliance with company security protocols and procedures to ensure safety.
• Maintain vigilance and attention to detail over extended periods, especially during shift work.
• Communicate effectively with security personnel to coordinate responses and ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in updating and managing access to security footage archives.
• Conduct routine system checks and support upgrades or maintenance as directed by the security management team.
• Follow emergency response procedures when required to protect company assets and personnel.
