Job Description

Emigrants is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Immigration Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will advise clients on immigration and study abroad pathways, helping them choose the most suitable options based on their education, career goals and eligibility.

As an Immigration Consultant, you will assess client profiles, explain visa and university admissions requirements and provide guidance throughout the application process. You will also contribute to business development by converting inquiries into successful clients, supporting student recruitment initiatives and delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in study abroad consulting, education counseling, international education, student visa services, education sales, lead conversion, sales consulting or client advisory roles. You will maintain accurate client records using CRM software while working closely with admissions and visa processing teams.

Job Summary

The Immigration Consultant is responsible for advising clients on study abroad and immigration opportunities, assessing eligibility, converting qualified leads into successful applications and building long-term client relationships while achieving monthly performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult clients on immigration and study abroad opportunities.
• Assess client eligibility for student visas and immigration pathways.
• Recommend suitable universities, academic programs and visa options.
• Explain admission requirements, documentation and immigration procedures.
• Convert inquiries into successful applications through consultative selling.
• Follow up with prospective clients via phone, WhatsApp, email and meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Maintain accurate client records, follow-ups and case updates using CRM software.
• Coordinate with admissions, documentation and visa processing teams.
• Achieve monthly consultation, conversion and revenue targets.
• Stay updated on immigration regulations, university requirements and international education trends.

Job Requirements: Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in immigration consulting, study abroad consulting, education counseling, admissions or sales.
• Experience in a study abroad or immigration consultancy is preferred.

Skills

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong consultation, sales and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of student visa and immigration procedures.
• Customer-focused with excellent relationship management skills.
• Ability to achieve sales and conversion targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
