Full job description

We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Junior Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and viral short-form videos for social media platforms. You must be up to date with the latest trends, capable of incorporating AI-generated content, and skilled in video editing techniques like color grading, transitions, and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting or online platforms.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
• Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video content.
• Review and correct errors to ensure high-quality output.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to meet project requirements.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in video editing.
• Knowledge of social media algorithms and engagement strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and file management.
• Strong attention to detail and creative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
