Job Description

The successful candidate will excel in generating new business, upselling services, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through excellent negotiation and communication skills. They will monitor trade market trends and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating across departments to ensure smooth shipment operations and timely resolution of issues such as delays or customs clearance challenges. This role demands a proactive approach to achieving targets for account acquisition, revenue growth, and shipment volume while fostering strong long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities
 

  • Identify and target high-potential B2B clients involved in ChinaPakistan trade, including importers, e-commerce companies, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
  • Generate leads and develop new business through trade platforms, industry networks, referrals, and trade exhibitions.
  • Acquire new key accounts and convert prospects into long-term contracted customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all major client accounts, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
  • Understand client supply chain requirements and deliver tailored logistics solutions covering sea freight, air freight, consolidation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
  • Increase shipment volumes and revenue from assigned accounts by leveraging upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across China and Pakistan to coordinate shipment operations and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor shipments actively and address challenges such as delays, customs issues, or damages swiftly to minimize impact on clients.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and implement strategies that enhance client retention.
  • Track and analyze market trends specific to ChinaPakistan trade routes to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis regarding their services and pricing to maintain a competitive edge in the logistics sector.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports that capture revenue metrics, shipment volumes, and overall account performance.
  • Consistently meet or exceed targets related to new account acquisition, revenue growth, and shipment volume to contribute to company goals.
