We're Hiring: Remote Medical Assistant
Location: Remote | Full-Time
Working Hours: Eastern Time Zone (Mon-Fri)

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the admin staff with patient insurance-related tasks
Ensure patient profiles are complete and accurate across all systems
Manage invoicing, monitor accounts receivable/payable, and track budgets
Follow up on insurance claims, ERAs, and denials
Track clinical and medical staff notes for timely submission
Ensure employee time entries are submitted accurately for payroll
Schedule and manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and sessions
Maintain accurate logs of team meetings and clinical supervisions
Coordinate patient attendance for support groups and classes
Arrange travel and manage agendas for senior-level staff
Respond professionally to phone calls, emails, texts, and letters
Perform clerical duties (document preparation, faxing, research, etc.)
Maintain accurate, up-to-date databases and records
Work with HR to ensure proper and confidential file organization
Support social media efforts by following posting guidelines and schedules
Requirements:
Proven experience of minimum 4 years as a Medical/Executive Assistant, particularly in a customer-facing role within North America.
A medical background or experience in the pharmacy industry is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a professional background in pharmacy or project management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM systems is essential.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and the ability to monitor and track project progress.
Report writing experience, with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather relevant information and compile data-driven reports.
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritizing tasks without supervision.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Must be able to take initiative and independently identify tasks, demonstrating a proactive approach without the need for constant supervision or guidance.
Must be available to work full-time during Eastern Time Zone hours, five days a week.
Desired Skills:
Experience in process and policy documentation, including creating operational manuals.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies to optimize workflows.
