About the Role

Sprouto Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work remotely for one of our international accounting group clients.

This role focuses on generating qualified leads, initiating conversations with business owners and decision-makers, and supporting the senior sales team in expanding the client’s portfolio.

You will act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, introducing accounting and financial services in a professional and consultative manner. The ideal candidate is confident, articulate, and comfortable engaging with international markets while working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential business clients requiring accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or advisory services
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
  • Engage with founders, directors, and finance managers to understand their business needs
  • Qualify leads based on service fit, company size, and decision-making authority
  • Book consultations and meetings for senior accountants or partners
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates within the CRM system
  • Consistently achieve agreed KPIs for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an SDR, Business Development, or outbound sales role
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Experience engaging with B2B decision-makers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools
  • Ability to explain professional or financial services clearly and confidently
  • Target-driven with strong follow-up discipline
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling accounting, financial, or professional services
  • Experience working with UK, US, or other international markets
  • Understanding of bookkeeping, tax, payroll, or advisory services (beneficial but not essential)
