Virtual Assistant — Medical Lab Operations (Remote, Karachi-based)

SMS Medical — a U.S.-based clinical laboratory and mobile diagnostics company — is hiring multiple remote Virtual Assistants to support our daily operations team. You'll be the first voice our U.S. healthcare clients hear when they call, so clear, professional, neutral-accent English is essential.

About the Role

You'll work U.S. business hours supporting a fast-paced medical lab. This is a phone- and computer-intensive role requiring excellent spoken English, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and providers
• Enter and manage lab orders in our Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Dispatch STAT (urgent) orders and coordinate with field staff
• Follow up on pending lab results and communicate updates to clients
• Handle general administrative and coordination tasks as needed

Shifts Available (listed in both U.S. Central Time and Pakistan Standard Time)

• Day: Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM CT → 7 PM – 4 AM PKT
• Evening: Mon–Fri, 5 PM – 12 AM CT → 4 AM – 11 AM PKT
• Weekend: Sat–Sun, 8 AM – 5 PM CT → 7 PM – 4 AM PKT

Requirements

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent — this is a phone-first role and is non-negotiable
• Prior voice/phone experience required (call center, customer support, telehealth, BPO, or similar)
• Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet work environment, computer, and a quality headset
• Strong data-entry accuracy and multitasking ability
• Comfortable working independently during U.S. hours
• Familiarity with U.S. healthcare or lab systems is a plus (training provided)
