As the Head of Sales and Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships (with a strong focus on Microsoft), and ensure the company’s market expansion. This leadership role will involve spearheading our go-to-market initiatives and establishing long-term business relationships that support our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
● Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee the overall sales strategy, setting sales targets, forecasting, and ensuring their achievement.
● Business Development: Identify, build, and nurture relationships with key clients, particularly in sectors with high demand for Microsoft services.
● Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with Microsoft and other relevant technology vendors to support our goal of becoming a Microsoft Solutions Partner. Existing relationship with the local Microsoft office is a plus.
● Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs, ensuring our services remain competitive and aligned with market demand.
● Team Building: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team as the company grows.
● Pipeline Management: Oversee lead generation efforts and manage the sales pipeline through effective CRM usage and reporting.
● Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Engineering and Service Delivery to ensure alignment between sales, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
● Brand Awareness: Represent the company at key events, conferences, and Microsoft-related functions to promote the business and create visibility in the market.
Qualifications & Skills
● Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT sales, with a strong track record of success specifically in Microsoft solutions sales. Proven experience working directly with Microsoft products, services, and cloud solutions is a must. Experience working at a Microsoft partner company is highly preferred.
● Partnership Management: Proven experience in building partnerships with Microsoft or within the Microsoft ecosystem, with a deep understanding of Microsoft’s partner and solutions framework.
● Leadership: Experience in managing a sales team and driving business objectives with a hands-on leadership style.
● Technical Understanding: A solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure, and other cloud solutions.
● Negotiation & Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with C-level executives and business owners.
● Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically while being detail-oriented in execution.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
