Upwork & Freelancer Bidder — Onsite Night Shift

We are looking for an intermediate-level Upwork & Freelancer Bidder to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience bidding on and understanding projects related to video editing, social media management, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, and other CMS-based website projects.

This role is for someone who can identify relevant jobs, write customized proposals, communicate professionally with clients, and support the agency in generating qualified leads and winning new projects.

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Shift Timing: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Location: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for relevant projects daily on Upwork and Freelancer.com.
  • Focus on projects related to video editing, short-form content, social media management, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, landing pages, website design, and CMS development.
  • Read job descriptions carefully and identify client requirements, budget, scope, deadlines, and key pain points.
  • Write customized proposals based on the client’s actual needs instead of sending generic copy-paste bids.
  • Highlight relevant services, portfolio examples, workflows, and solutions in each proposal.
  • Respond to client messages, invitations, interview requests, and follow-ups professionally and on time.
  • Coordinate with the project manager and delivery team to collect portfolio links, project estimates, technical details, and suitable work samples.
  • Maintain records of proposals sent, client responses, interviews, follow-ups, and contracts won.
  • Follow up with warm leads in a professional and value-focused manner.
  • Help improve proposal templates, service positioning, opening hooks, and portfolio selection.
  • Track which project categories and proposal approaches produce the best response rates.
  • Follow all Upwork and Freelancer.com communication and platform policies.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in Upwork bidding, Freelancer bidding, lead generation, business development, or client acquisition.
  • Experience bidding on projects related to video editing, social media management, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or other CMS platforms.
  • Good understanding of short-form video editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube content.
  • Basic understanding of social media services, including content calendars, posting, engagement, reels, captions, strategy, and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of website design and development projects, especially CMS-based websites.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and ask the right questions when project details are unclear.
  • Strong written English and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to write personalized proposals that are concise, relevant, and client-focused.
  • Familiarity with fixed-price projects, hourly contracts, milestones, budgets, and delivery timelines.
  • Experience using Google Sheets, Excel, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Slack, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple proposals, follow-ups, and client conversations at the same time.
  • Must be available to work onsite from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with a digital marketing agency, video-editing agency, social media agency, software house, or web-development company.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Figma, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and Wix.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX, graphic design, SEO, paid ads, or landing-page projects.
  • Experience handling clients from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or other international markets.
  • Understanding of how to select suitable portfolio examples based on each project type.
  • Experience generating leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, or other freelancing platforms is a plus.

Performance Expectations

  • Submit relevant and high-quality proposals consistently every day.
  • Generate qualified replies, interviews, and client conversations.
  • Keep daily records of bids, responses, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Maintain professional communication and quick response times.
  • Help the company win projects in video editing, social media, and CMS website services.

Important Compliance Requirement

The selected candidate must follow all Upwork and Freelancer.com policies. Client communication must remain on the platform before a contract starts, and all proposals, portfolio examples, and service claims must be accurate.

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
