Marketing Intern

Internship Details:

• Position: Marketing Intern
• Program Duration: 6-8 weeks
• Start Date: May 2024
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of on-site at our Nazimabad No. 4 headquarters and remote work)
• Compensation: Competitive stipend (details provided upon selection)

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research & Analysis:
• Conduct local market research to understand consumer preferences
• Analyze competitor strategies in the branded flour segment
• Identify emerging trends in Karachi's FMCG sector
• Digital Marketing:
• Develop and execute social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram)
• Create engaging content highlighting Ashrafi's heritage and quality
• Assist in managing digital community engagement
• Traditional Marketing:
• Support the development of local promotional campaigns
• Assist in planning and executing on-ground activations
• Help coordinate with local retailers and distributors
• Brand Strategy:
• Contribute ideas for brand positioning and differentiation
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for marketing initiatives
• Help develop strategies to increase household penetration

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital platforms
• Strong communication skills in Urdu and English
• Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Karachi's consumer landscape
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic design tools (Canva, etc.) is a plus
