Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher

Zindagi Trust, a well-established non-profit organization committed to improving public sector education in Pakistan since 2002, is looking to hire a full-time Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher. This position is located at SMB Fatima Jinnah Government Girls Secondary School in Garden West, Karachi, a government school adopted by Zindagi Trust. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and facilitating activities that support the physical, mental, and emotional development of young children. The teacher will be responsible for providing both structured lessons and unstructured play opportunities to foster holistic growth and nurture early learning in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.
- Organize and facilitate a balance of structured teaching and unstructured play to encourage creativity, social interaction, and emotional well-being.
- Monitor, assess, and document children’s progress, adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment aligned with best practices in early childhood education.
- Collaborate closely with school staff and the Zindagi Trust team to ensure alignment with program objectives and effective implementation.
- Advocate for the significance of early childhood education within the school community and contribute to raising awareness.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related discipline.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- One to two years of relevant teaching experience in early childhood education settings.
