Unilever is looking for a Corporate & Digital Communications Lead to shape and drive its corporate storytelling across digital and social media platforms in Pakistan. This role involves comprehensive campaign planning, content creation, influencer collaboration, and digital amplification to strengthen Unilever’s brand reputation and purpose-driven image. The ideal candidate will blend strategic communication expertise with creative skills, managing design, video editing, and photography to produce engaging corporate communication materials. Based in Karachi and reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a global company dedicated to sustainable living and impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the in-house creative design and video production for corporate communication assets, including static posts, reels, infographics, and event videos. Utilize tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and CapCut, with camera handling skills considered an advantage. Manage relationships with creative agencies and partners to maintain design consistency across both digital and offline platforms.
Develop and implement strategy, content planning, and management for Unilever Pakistan’s corporate social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Oversee paid media campaigns and conduct performance analysis using analytics tools like Meta Business Suite and Meltwater. Create and maintain monthly content calendars, ensuring all posts reflect the appropriate tone, accuracy, and visual quality.
Conceptualize and execute corporate campaigns centered on Sustainability, Advocacy, and other key initiatives. Collaborate with influencers, creators, and external agencies to amplify storytelling efforts. Support internal communications by driving employee engagement campaigns, newsletters, and leadership messaging, aligning narratives across Corporate Affairs, HR, and Sustainability functions.
Build and nurture strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally. Coordinate with agencies, production houses, media partners, and onboard new strategic partnerships to enhance campaign reach and credibility. Act as editor for Unilever Pakistan’s country website, managing content updates, layout, and SEO optimization while working closely with the global web team to ensure brand consistency.
Coordinate with PR and media agencies for conventional media planning across TV, print, and out-of-home platforms to secure brand visibility and external amplification. Monitor and report on social media performance, campaign reach, engagement, and sentiment monthly, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Sciences, or Design. A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in digital communications, creative design, and content production. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or Premiere Pro, and Meta Business Suite. Basic knowledge of conventional media planning, including TV, print, and radio. Experience in media budget management, including buying and allocation. Excellent communication skills, strong visual design sensibility, and the ability to multitask effectively.
