Job Description

Rqc Engineering is looking for a professional and well-presented Receptionist with at least two years of experience in the inspection, engineering, or industrial services sector. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, representing the company's values through excellent customer service and efficient management of front desk operations. This role requires a highly organized individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. The ideal candidate has strong telephone etiquette and proficiency with telephone systems, ensuring all communications are handled promptly and accurately. This role demands excellent multitasking skills to coordinate administrative duties seamlessly while managing inquiries and directing visitors appropriately. Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to front desk responsibilities are essential to support smooth office operations and enhance the overall client experience.
Responsibilities
 

  • Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and effectively using telephone systems.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Coordinate visitor appointments, logging entries and exits according to company security protocols.
  • Provide accurate information about the company and direct visitors to appropriate departments or staff members.
  • Handle multiple phone lines and face-to-face inquiries simultaneously, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining records.
  • Monitor and manage incoming mail and deliveries, ensuring timely distribution to relevant personnel.
  • Assist in coordinating office supplies and liaising with service providers as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
