Job Description

Textile1888 Mills is looking for a skilled Bucket Tractor Driver with at least 2 years of experience to operate heavy machinery efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate must have experience driving and handling a bucket tractor to support various tasks within the mill's operational environment. This role involves following safety procedures, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring smooth transportation of materials. Attention to detail and careful handling of equipment are essential to maintain productivity and reduce downtime. Responsibilities
 

• Operate bucket tractor and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently according to company guidelines.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Load, transport, and unload materials as directed by supervisors, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
• Follow all safety regulations and standard operating procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of the bucket tractor to ensure optimal functioning.
• Keep accurate records of machine usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents encountered during operation.
• Coordinate with other departments to align transportation tasks with production schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area around the bucket tractor.
• Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements related to heavy machinery operation.
