Job Description

Lakhani Builders seeks a dedicated Project Manager to lead the comprehensive management of construction and development projects from initiation through to successful handover. The role demands the creation and management of detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones while ensuring accountability from all stakeholders. The candidate will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and onsite teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure operations align with safety regulations, approved specifications, and quality standards. This position requires a professional with at least five years of experience in project management within construction, real estate development, or infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of project planning and resource management, and will deliver regular progress reports to senior leadership. The role does not involve managing a team directly but requires coordination and oversight of multiple partners and stakeholders involved in projects.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, plans, and milestones that align with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Coordinate the daily management of contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor progress rigorously, identify potential risks proactively, and implement corrective actions promptly to mitigate any adverse impact.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and approved project specifications throughout the entire project duration.
  • Manage project budgets by tracking expenditures, identifying variances, and optimizing resource allocation to maintain financial control.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports regularly to senior leadership to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Engage in effective communication planning to ensure clear information flow among all stakeholders and seamless coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and stakeholder expectations managed effectively.
  • Utilize project management software and digital tools to track project status, document updates, and support decision-making processes.
  • Maintain high personal discipline, professionalism, and integrity in handling confidential information and project-sensitive matters.
  • Continuously assess project performance against quality assurance benchmarks and implement improvements where necessary.
